Set in the fictional old mining town of Bethelwood, the game plunges players into the haunting tale of Sally, a young girl on a quest to find her missing cousin, Emily. GYLT is a narrative adventure game that blends suspense, puzzles, stealth, and action. As Tequila Works was previously responsible for the underappreciated gem that is Deadlight, we couldn’t wait to try it out. This is a fun game that will give you a great story and around 6 to 8 hours of fun.GYLT, developed by Tequila Works in collaboration with Parallel Circles, started life as a Stadia exclusive, but has now come to other platforms as well, giving us the chance to review it on a PlayStation 5. In conclusion, GYLT is possibly the best reason to start your Google Stadia experience. I did purposely try to screw with my download speed for this game specifically to see if it would influence my experience and aside from lower visuals, I had no borks at all. Both times my upload and download speeds were very similar at 70Mbit download and 20ish up. Some technical background, I was playing on both my Chromecast Ultra on 4K as well as on my Asus laptop. ![]() With the exception of the single bork, Stadia actually performed splendidly on my gameplay of GYLT. I will always go into detail on my experience with Stadia itself. Now while I did have a lot of fun with the game, there is the other side of things. My favorite part is how the game created this dark atmosphere and yet, it was still nothing too frightening. It is truly majestic in more than one way and I have to say, for a game that is exclusive on Google Stadia, this is a really great piece of entertainment. There is so much to do in this game, from sneaking around to killing monsters to just solving basic puzzles. This is where the real game starts and the action meets adventure while also meeting puzzle games.
